Installation project on the grounds of the Archabbey of Pannonhalma (Hungary)

What can you expect?

Students from the college (FI and FII) will have opportunities to participate in a collective installation project of the Arcus Temproum Festival on the grounds of the Archabbey of Pannonhalma in Hungary, directed by Prof. József Mélyi (MKE Budapest), August 26-28, 2022.

Renewal / Erneuerung

 

Project Description:

Living pictures (Tableau Vivants) will be presented at the festival. Each participant chooses an older work of art / painting / photo or their own work from which lebendie images are created.

Note on the selection of the image motif:

  • Illustration of several persons
  • Theme of "renewal" must be visible in a way
  • Be in touch with (or not contradict) the spirit of the place.

 

Procedure:

The selected image motif will be uploaded by August 15 (more details to follow). Details of number of people, tools, clothing, etc. will be required).

  • August 26: Arrival, presentation of the images in the evening and subsequent discussion.
  • August 27: public rehearsal either in the labyrinth (arboretum) or in the hall.
  • August 28: Presentation of the live images

The event will be documented with photos and with short videos.

  • conversational English
  • independent organization of the trip

 

What do we need from you?

  • Name, contact details, semester of study, course of study / class
  • Short letter of motivation (approx. 1000 characters)
  • Information on whether and how often participation in EU4ART exchange programs has already taken place.
