At the end of the winter semester, the final projects of the master students will be exhibited in the Oktogon, the art gallery of the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. The 24 young artists provide insights into their working methods and the themes that occupy them. Classical techniques are examined and questioned, and the boundaries of media and materials are transcended. The focus is on handmade and digital works, romantic narratives, and personal experiences. From classical panel paintings to installations and film to more experimental formats, this show offers a fresh perspective on the world.
