From 17 July 2026, the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts will open its doors across all its campuses and invite visitors to the highlights of the semester: the annual and graduation exhibitions as part of the 2026 exhibition tour. At 7 pm, the annual exhibition of Faculty I (Fine Art) on Pfotenhauerstraße will open with the presentation of the DAAD Prize for international students and the announcement of the Sibet grants.
Faculty II (Stage and Costume Design, Restoration, Theatre Design, Art Therapy) will open its annual exhibition on the following day, 18 July at 4 pm on Güntzstraße, and the celebrations will begin. The summer party is a student-organised event, the grand finale of the academic year. The main highlight is the “Werkshow”. Students from the Theatre Design course will present their work on a catwalk. The festival is for young and old alike!
Finally, on 24 July at 7 pm, the Fine Art Diploma Exhibition will open at the Oktogon, the art gallery of the HfBK Dresden, and the Friends’ Association Prize will be awarded.
