The conference is the result of intense and enthusiastic collaboration under the EU4ART differences project, which aims to gain new knowledge about Artistic Research and collaboration across partner universities at models of the Third Cycle. These months also served as a catalyst for the development of a potential route leading to the introduction of the ABAROMA-Modell of the Third Cycle, the first of its kind for the AFAM sector (Higher Education in Art and Music).
By bringing together national and European Quality Assurance Agencies (such as ANVUR and EQ-Arts), and representatives of significant European Projects (such as Creator Doctus and EU4ART differences), the conference will provide an opportunity to discuss the issues raised by the Third Cycle in Arts in an international context.
Diverse practices and experiences are exchanged using a transdisciplinary approach (doctoral schools at MKEMagyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem Budapest (MKE) and LMALatvijas Mākslas Akadēmija Riga (LMA), Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Zerynthia).
