From 6 to 8 November 2019, the international conference "Collections at Art Universities. Storing and Communicating" took place at the Dresden University of Fine Arts. It can be regarded as the final of the research and practical project "Body and Painting", which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). From February 2017 to January 2020, the project's task was to research the collection of paintings with diploma theses and student research projects from the period 1950 to 1990 and the anatomical teaching collection with preparations and models from the period 1800 to the present day, and to transfer them into an infrastructure that above all makes interdisciplinary teaching and learning possible.
