Susanne Greinke, curator and head of exhibitions at the HfBK Dresden since 2005, and Matthias Flügge, exhibition maker and rector of the HfBK Dresden since 2012, talk to each other about different approaches to curatorial questions against the background of their professional experiences. For Susanne Greinke, the function as curator at an art academy means a direct exchange with students about their works and often a close accompaniment of the process of creation. Matthias Flügge has curated numerous major international exhibitions such as "Der Riss im Raum. Positions in Art since 1945 from Germany, Poland, Slovakia and the Czech Republic" at the Gropiusbau and Galeria Zacheta, Warsaw 1994 (with Jiri Svestka) as well as traveling exhibitions for ifa such as "Weltreise. Art from Germany on the Road. Works from ifa's art collection 1949 - today", 2013 (with Matthias Winzen).
