Kitija Vasiļjeva is a Riga-based cultural producer who participates in international contemporary art events in Latvia and abroad. She has worked as a production manager at the Riga International Biennial of Contemporary Art (RIBOCA), the Latvian Pavilion titled ARMPIT at the 56th Venice Art Biennale, and the contemporary art festival Survival Kit, editions 6-9. Kitija developed and curated the exhibition You've Got 1243 Unread Messages at the Latvian National Museum of Art, which won the national Public Media Award as Event of the Year 2017. She is also a guest lecturer at the Latvian Academy of Art, teaching exhibition production. She graduated from Maastricht University with an MSc in Cultures of Arts, Science and Technology.
