Willkommen in United Hiland

~ Travel to the Hiland ~

I was born in Korea and lived in Japan, the United States, and the Netherlands before moving to Germany. My life, navigating through various countries and cultures, has always been shaped by the intense question: “Where are my roots?”

This confusion even extends into my dreams. I often encounter bizarre scenes where I speak Korean or Japanese on the streets of Germany, or use English in the middle of Korea—a kaleidoscope of different languages and backgrounds. Hiland is the sole sanctuary I have discovered amidst these fragments of identity. It is an ideal world that overcomes the alienation I felt as a wanderer, carefully weaving together the best elements of the cultures I have experienced.

I cordially invite you to Hiland—a land of perfect daily life that everyone has dreamed of at least once, even if it does not exist on the coordinates of reality.

Upon landing in Hiland, you will first be greeted by a guide. He will provide you with a friendly introduction to the foundation myth, history, and rules of this land.

After the orientation, your time for free exploration begins.

“Every place where your footsteps linger is a part of Hiland's history.”

From the mysterious statue of the dog from the foundation myth standing in the heart of the city, to the National Park where you can take a deep, green breath; from the National Museum collecting fragments of forgotten memories, to the Handmade Shop, that radiates a gentle warmth, and the Café where strangers become friends: Experience your own special daily life in Hihi, the vibrant capital of Hiland.
