The exhibition shows practical work by students in the Theater Design/Costume Design course that has been created over the last four years.
In addition to traditionally made pieces such as tutus, corsets and historical substructures, the numerous exhibits also include experimental explorations in the form of costumes. For example, you can marvel at fairies whose robes have a special expression thanks to laser cutting technology. The costume sculptures created in the third year of study offer a special culinary experience, taking up the theme of “food” in a variety of ways and bringing it to life using various processing techniques.
The possibility of a journey through time that not only looks into the past, but can also look into the future, is offered by one of the largest study projects, the historical costumes, which, among other things, take the viewer with their silhouettes and stories, into the time of the Renaissance, the French Revolution and kidnapped by industrialization.
The opening ceremony will take place on September 20, 2023 at 5 p.m. in the palace in the Great Garden. The exhibition will then be open from Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays until October 15, 2023.
Admission is free.
