Workshop for Lithography

Profile

The Lithography Workshop at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts looks back on a history spanning over a hundred years at the institution. It is equipped with three historic printing presses, two modern printing presses manufactured by Takach, and an extensive collection of lithographic stones of almost every size.

All students at the university are warmly invited to explore the art of lithography and issues relating to printmaking at this special venue.
In order to be able to work freely in the workshop, it is necessary to complete a foundation course beforehand. This course is organised as a block programme and lasts three weeks – always from Wednesday to Friday – comprising a total of nine sessions.

Module 3/7 or Module 3/8 (attendance is compulsory to earn credits)
