Introduction to the basics of metal processing and the functioning of different metal processing machines with the aim of enabling students to work independently.


In the workshop for metal processing, Toralf Mjetk introduces students to the basics of metal processing and the functioning of different metal processing machines with the aim of enabling them to work independently. They have access to equipment, machines and workplaces for creating works of art from metal. They can weld, saw, cut, sand and drill metal in the workshop.


Courses

Courses Basics of various metal processing techniques, introduction to the machines required for that, chasing of cast artistic objects, as well as soldering and welding work.

Courses are announced in writing by putting up a notice in the workshop and by sending an email to the students of sculpting classes. Individual project mentoring is possible by personal agreement following a detailed presentation of the project.
