“No day without a line.” is a drawing credo that has ruined a lot. Often it is about drawing as training and preliminary stage, as proof of talent, discipline and inspired lifestyle. In contrast, there is the trash, the jokes, the illustrations, clumsy sketches for kitchen renovations, the scrawl. Beyond these poles, drawing is to be discussed here as an open way of working that does not get caught up in hierarchies and boundaries, as a utility graphic for fleeting thoughts, for difficult/no topics at all, for the large audience and no one. This suggests an artistic activity that sensitizes and responds through drawing, even if only to one's own daily form.
