NETZWERK KREATIV

The idea promotion of the HfBK Dresden. Practical know-how, enriching contacts, exchange with other creative people, financial support for your project – that's what NETZWERK KREATIV stands for between 2015 and 2020.

“We participated in NETZWERK KREATIV with our exhibition space, 'Schimmel Projects - Art Centre Dresden'. During the founding period of this project we were able to improve our public relations work considerably with the support of NETZWERK KREATIV. This is a very important part of our work and it has helped us a lot. In addition, the contact and the network to the other projects is important: You can exchange experiences, develop ideas and find solutions".

Philipp Putzer and Rasmus Roos Lindquist from Schimmel Projects - Art Centre Dresden, NETZWERK KREATIV 2018 participants

Funding guidelines, selection & process of NETZWERK KREATIV

Anyone who had an exciting idea. The most important criterion for the application was that the applicants were working on creative projects or wanted to bring such projects to life. Individuals and project teams were eligible to apply.

The only condition: The applicants had to be students or alumni* of the HfBK Dresden. Collaboration with students and alumni* of the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music, the Palucca University of Dance, the HTW or the TU Dresden was also possible.

* up to two years after graduation

A changing jury consisting of a representative of the Faculty I as well as the Faculty II, a student and at the same time former participant of NETZWERK KREATIV, an actor of the regional cultural scene as well as the project management unanimously made the decision in the selection process. From the submitted applications 10 projects were selected annually.

Selection jury NETZWERK KREATIV 2020:

  • Su-Ran Sichling | Head of Ceramics Workshop & Artistic Assistant, HfBK Dresden
  • Prof. Ulrich Eißner | Professor for Theater Sculpture, HfBK Dresden
  • Madlyn Sauer | student & participant NETZWERK KREATIV 2019
  • Helge-Björn Meyer | Management Servicestelle FREIE SZENE | Landesverband Soziokultur Sachsen e.V.
  • Anna Schinzel | Project Management NETZWERK KREATIV

All applicants had the opportunity to present their project personally to the jury and to answer the questions of the jury members. After the meeting, the decision was announced by e-mail.

Each year, 10 projects or start-up initiatives were selected to receive support from the project management in planning and implementing their idea. Each project also received 1,000 euros in funding for its own public relations work.

Application-related knowledge was strengthened through workshops, seminars and lectures. The participants themselves decided on the content of the events and could request coaching from experts. In the joint exchange, they networked with other project participants.
