Together with students of the Natural Materials Studio from the university in Ústí nad Labem (CZ) and HfBK Dresden students, we would like to prepare a sound performative happening in the Intercity Strudel Dresden.
What is the acoustic environment like around Dresden Central Station?
How does the empty interior of a former office sound? What sounds do we bring to both environments with our presence? In a joint happening, we will try to collect the sounds of the interior and exterior, mix them together and develop an active interaction between them.
The Happening will begin at 11:30 a.m. with lunch preparation, which will gradually evolve into an creative work with recording devices, microphones, pickups, mixing consoles and loudespeakers speakers. It is not necessary to have any previous experience working with sound. All you need is an open mind and creativity and some food and drinks for lunch.
