Emerging from a three-week workshop around the notion of the archive, this group exhibition contemplates trace, sediment, memory and inheritances, and considers the role of photography historically as well as in the present. The artists take the archive — institutional, personal and familial — as points of departure, reflecting on their personal histories, lived experiences, geopolitical realities and family narratives.
